The School of Health and Rehabilitation participated in caring for the elderly

On the afternoon of October 13th, 9 members of Rainbow Love association from School of Health and Rehabilitation, along with the staff of social work service center of HuiZe Community, organized 66 elderly people who lost their single child to go to the BaiMa lake to meet and enjoy the chrysanthemum.

The volunteers accompanied the elderly throughout the whole process, acted as a guide for the elderly, assisted the elderly with mobility difficulties, carried tea and water for the elderly, took photos for the elderly, and carried luggage for the elderly. They took meticulous care of the elderly throughout the whole process, which won unanimous praise from the elderly. The old man watched the scenery and admired the chrysanthemum all the way.

Our school adheres to the “grand ideological and political” work in educating students. This activity makes the elderly people who lost their single child feel the warmth of the society, and also enables the students to understand social conditions, follow peoples will and develop social skills, thus developing their "angel ingenuity" in protecting their love for life as a medical student!
